How much does it cost?

When installing the add-on, you get 2500 free credits, equaling 2500 translated words (which is about 5-6 pages in standard A4 format).

Once you run out of credits, you can buy more through our secure Stripe payment platform. Our pricing is currently €4 for 500 credits/translated words, meaning it would only cost you €4 to instantly translate a full A4 page in any of our 26 supported languages.

Is my data safe?

Absolutely. Your data is actually even never really stored. We pass the data through to the DeepL servers who are operated in a co-location model in data centers in Finland with an ISO 27001 certified data center operator.

Your content isn’t saved on persistent storage, but only stored in RAM and encrypted using state-of-the-art symmetrical encryption.

Is there also a Google docs add-on?

Not yet! But sit tight because we’re currently working on it and expect to launch it within a few weeks.

What's the difference with the standard Google Translate functionality in Google Sheets?
